People are hungry for the truth. So, we are going to explore many doctrines that are embraced by Christians today. Doctrines will be examined against scripture to determine if it is truth or if it is error. Scripture is the standard that all doctrines must be measured by. There are only two doors in front of us, and how we are motivated will determine which door we will enter. If we have a love for the truth, we enter the door which leads to life; if we refuse a love for the truth because we cling to tradition, family of origin, country beliefs, societal effects, news, etc. then we open ourselves us for a strong delusion and will enter the door through which we will perish (2 Thess. 2:9-12). The further we are away from the truth, the closer we are to a lie. Satan is a master of deception, so God help us not to ever get to a place where we refuse to accept the straight testimony of scripture for TRUTH MATTERS. Amen and Amen.
In love, beloved, are these topics addressed. We are told, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Our duty is to pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us into truth and ‘strain’ what we hear through God’s word. Help us LORD God to have a love for the truth and to know the truth so we don’t pollute someone else’s life. Amen and Amen.
We are called not to: “…participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them, for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. For this reason it says, ‘Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you’” (Ephesians 5:11-14).
This is NOT an attack on people who believe in doctrines that cannot be support by scripture, but rather it is an attempt to share truth of the matter before our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We need the ‘eye salve’ so that we can see for there is no need to walk blindly (Revelation 3:18). Many practice their faith in a way that is foreign to what scripture says unknowingly and God provides grace for this unawareness (Acts 17:30). However, when light is brought to the forefront – then we have a decision to make. God makes it clear that He has ‘other sheep that are not of this fold and they must be called’ (John 10:16).

To Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ: The content of these articles are intended to point out religious systems that are in error. The Plain Word wants to make it absolutely clear that God has people who love Jesus in all churches. There are many faithful believers in Roman Catholicism and Protestantism who serve God with the understanding that they have and are seen by God as His children. God is the searcher of the heart. We do not advocate that people in Sunday-keeping churches are lost, God winks at those that are uniformed (Acts 17:30). With that said, in the end of time, His truth will be made abundantly clear regarding His truth as it relates to the gospel message, the seventh-day Sabbath instituted at Creation, among others. It will be made so obvious that the people living in those days will have to make a choice and this is where the applying of the seal of God or the mark of the Beast occurs. Why is this the time in history that this occurs? Because Jesus is coming to gather His people and all people will have made a choice. Those that find the truth and purpose in their heart to reject it at any time, God judges not man.
The information contained herein is directed only towards systems such as the Roman Catholic religio-political system that has reigned in varying degrees for centuries. Under the influence of its successive popes, bishops, and cardinals, this system has established an increasing number of doctrines and statements that clearly go against Scripture.
