Articles focus on the meaning of assurance. When God forgives we stand before him as if we never committed the offense. Justification, based on what Jesus did at the cross, is the ‘good news’ that we stand before the Almighty God as if we never ever sinned. If we believe His forgiveness it leads to assurance, and assurance leads to gratitude which leads to loyalty to Him.
