Witness

Articles focus on witness which is the Christian service. A principle of Christian service is thinking most of others. This principle of witness is for the sake of God to show how much he loves us. God is a God of love and God is responsible for us being born in this world of sin/trouble for God is in charge of life; then God – in order to remain being a God of love – would have to give everyone an adequate opportunity for something better and therefore the plan of salvation.

TRUTH MATTERS
Jesus is truth (John. 14:6, 18:27; Matt. 22:16; Mark 12:14; Luke 20:21; Heb. 1:1-3; ), the word is truth (Jesus is also the Word-Jn. 1:1, scripture: 2 Sam. 7:28; Ps. 119:160; 1 Ki. 17:24; Jn. 17:17; 2 Cor. 6:7; Gal. 2:5, Eph. 1:13; Col. 1:5, 2 Tim. 3:16, Rev. 21:5), and the law/commandments is truth (Ps. 119:142, 119:151; Rom. 2:20, 22:6).

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

It is imperative that we know the truth. This is the only way we can be free according to scripture. By deduction we can conclude that if we do not know the truth then we are in bondage. What is truth? Second Timothy 3:16 tells us, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” This is the gospel, which means ‘good news’. God’s word is good news. We encourage ‘truth seekers’ to invite the Holy Spirit into your life and prayerfully ask for guidance and understanding as you study God’s holy word. John 3:16-17 KJV
¹⁶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
¹⁷For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The devil is the enemy of truth. We are told in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he many devour.” How does he ‘devour’? The Bible tells us, “… He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44). So, he devours or kills by lies and deception. Think upon what he told Eve. TRUTH MATTERS!
