The Building Structure for DNA.
It is important to understand that DNA is not chemistry. DNA has a double helix, and on these strands are molecules (dots and dashes). DNA is lined up in a specific order to write out all the information necessary to build a human, animal, or plant. For example, a human has trillions of cells and in nearly every cell a human has all the information necessary to build a human. At one time it was said that if all the information would be spelled out in just one cell, it would fill 1,000 books with 500 typed written pages. The interesting things is that that information is not in the molecule, the information is in arranged in a particular order to write the information. Consider a book, the information contained in the book – the information to be read is not in the molecule, rather the ink has been arranged in letters, the letters are arranged in a particular order to create words which are then arranged to create sentences, and because the language is understood it is written in, that is where the information can be understood. One must have the language to read the information the book contains. Here is the interesting fact, DNA itself has the information that makes the language to read the information, to make the language to read the information, to make the language to read the information, and so on. Another words you have to have the language to read the information, otherwise it won’t work; and its all got to be there at the same time.
The Language of DNA
Language only comes from intelligence. Information has to have intelligence behind it. Matter could not have happened on its own by random chance. It is like a clay tablet that is discovered. It has emblems on it, one would understand that it is a language, but it means nothing unless the emblems (code) are cracked. Take morse code, it has three basic parts; dots, dashes and spaces. These three simple parts are combined to represent letters. There are 26 letters in the English language, which are combined to create over 400,000 words. Those words can be combined to create an endless number of sequences or sentences. There is evidence that DNA represents a language. There are four nucleotides (GCTA), which are combined into code to create 20 amino acids, and from those few amino acids the body forms more than 100,000 proteins. Even if one can’t read DNA, it still has all the hallmarks of a language…a language that biologist are just beginning to crack. Every tiny cell in our body is packed with three feet of DNA, and three billion nucleotides. The similarity between DNA and the human language is uncanny. In addition to codes, both use similar techniques to pack, access, rearrange, copy, and translate information. DNA seems to represent a language, the language of life. An unseen author, Creator of Heaven and Earth, has left a testimony of His existence in the DNA of every living thing. 1 Timothy 6:13
Matter to Information?
For those that believe in evolution, it is believed that millions of years ago that somehow life had to arise out of/from matter. As one thinks about that, it’s not just that life arose out of matter – DNA is required for life to rise out of matter…then it is not just DNA, there has to be a language system. There has never been witness to matter producing new information that has not already previously existed. There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to information, neither is any physical process or material phenomenon known that can do this. A code system is always the result of a mental process (it requires an intelligent origin or inventor). It should be emphasized that matter as such is unable to generate any code. All experiences indicate that a thinking being voluntarily exercising his own free will, cognition, and creativity, is required. Werner Gitt.
What do scientist say about this?
Dr. Richard Dawkins was asked several years ago, “Can you give an example of a genetic mutation or an evolutionary process which can be seen to produce information in the genome?” Dr. Dawkins was unable to provide an answer. That was many years ago, but what does Dr. Dawkins say now? In the video titled “Expelled”, Dr. Dawkins was asked, “What do you think is the possibility that intelligent design might turn out to be the issue in genetics?” Dr. Dawkins responded that “it could come about in the following way, that at some earlier time somewhere in the universe a civilization evolved, through some Darwinian means at a very very high level of technology, and designed the form of life that they seeded onto…perhaps this planet. Now that is a possibility and an intriguing possibility. And I suppose it possible that you might find evidence of that if you look at the details of biochemistry, biology you may find a signature of some sort of designer. And, that designer could be a higher intelligence from elsewhere in the universe. But that higher intelligence itself would have to come about by some ultimate explicable process. It couldn’t have just jumped into existence spontaneously.”
So what Dr. Dawkins is saying that some other life in outer space evolved and brought it to earth. This is not science, it is blind faith. On the other hand, as Christians what we see in God’s world agrees with what we see in God’s word. What we see in biochemistry validates God. True observational science confirms Bible history.
