Listed below are many texts that reference Lucifer (aka: Satan, Devil, Serpent, etc.). By studying scripture, we get a clear picture of who we are dealing with. We need the righteous covering of Christ AND the complete armor of God. We cannot fight this enemy alone.
At the end of earths history, Satan will appear as Christ himself seeking worship. He will use many means to deceive such as apparent miracles, calling for the dead which are fallen angels masquerading as your loved ones, and leaders to persuade those that resist. We are told that Jesus will return in the air with the entire host of heaven, it will be a bright event that all will see. His feet will not touch the earth, and he will resurrect the sleeping saved and the living saved will be changed in a twinkling of an eye. The unrighteous dead stay dead and the unrighteous living die at His coming for the will not be able to stand in the presence of a Holy God. After 1,000 years in heaven we will return with Christ to earth. The wicked, sin, and death, will be destroyed and Christ will make a new heaven and earth for the former will pass away (all is consumed by fire). Those that rejected Christ’s mercy will pray for rocks to fall on them, for this will be a horrifying event to them.
